These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to Homeschool Atlas websites and application (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

The Service

Homeschool Atlas provides tools for families to organize instruction logs, planning, optional curriculum trees, high-school records, and related household education data. Features may change as the product evolves.

Not legal advice or compliance certification

The Service is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Tracking features, state targets, overrides, exports, and related tools are for personal organization only. They do not guarantee compliance with any state, provincial, or national requirement. You are solely responsible for understanding and meeting applicable education laws and regulations.

Accounts & households

  • You must provide accurate registration information and keep credentials secure.
  • Household owners are responsible for members they invite and for the data entered about students.
  • You may not access another household’s data or attempt to disrupt the Service.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including uploading unlawful content, attempting unauthorized access, reverse engineering except where prohibited by law from restriction, or overloading infrastructure.

AI-generated content

Optional AI suggestions are provided as-is and may be incomplete or incorrect. Parents must review and approve suggestions before relying on them. You remain responsible for educational decisions.

Subscriptions & trials

Paid plans, trials, and pricing (including any placeholder amounts shown on marketing pages) are subject to change. If billing is enabled, additional payment terms from our payment processor may apply.

Intellectual property

We retain rights in the Service, branding, and software. You retain rights in content you upload, and grant us a limited license to host and process that content solely to provide the Service. Curriculum taxonomies may include third-party licensed data with separate attribution requirements inside the product.

Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or risks to the Service or other users.

Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be indicated by updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
